This EASA Part-147 approved differences training course, Boeing 747-400 (GE CF-6) and Boeing 747-400 (GE CF-6 to PW4000) Differences, is designed for licensed and trainee aircraft maintenance engineers who already hold a type rating on the base configuration and require differences training to add the modification to their B1/B2 licence. Delivered by AVIET under EASA approval MT.147.08 in line with EASA Part-66 differences training requirements, the course highlights the specific variations in airframe, systems, and engine configuration between the two configurations, focusing on the areas where maintenance procedures and technical characteristics differ.

Trainees review the relevant ATA chapters affected by the differences, ensuring a clear understanding of the changes in systems architecture, components, and maintenance practices covered by this course.
